Yesterday evening, we were all horrified to hear of the stabbing in Parnell Square of innocent people, including children.

In the aftermath, when people were routinely going home from work to their families, so many of our members were heading to Dublin City Centre after their day’s work to face the unknown.

They restored order and protected us all. We want to express our solidarity and support to all members of the public, emergency services and our own members who were involved and commend you for your bravery.
