- Government Correspondence (dated within 12 months) – Tax Credit Certificate, Employment Details Summary (P60 replacement), Statement of Liability (P21 replacement), P45, Correspondence from Dept. of Social Protection.
- Utility Bill – gas, electricity, land-line phone, monthly bill-pay mobile phone, cable TV, broadband
- Bank or Credit Card Statements – e-statement accepted where name and address are included
- Credit Union Statement – St. Raphael’s statement not accepted
- Mortgage Statement (issued within 12 months)
- College/University letter confirming address for current school year
- TV Licence (issued within 12 months)
- Car/House Insurance Cert. or correspondence regarding active policy (within 12 months)
- Garda Pension Payslip (copy of both sides)
Proof of PPS Number
- Correspondence containing PPSN from Revenue or the Department of Social & Family Affairs which contains your name, address and PPSN. e.g. P60,P21, Tax Assessment, Tax Balancing Statement, Tax Credit Certificate.
- Payslip with PPSN
- Medical Card or Drug Payment Scheme card with PPSN shown
- European Health Insurance card
- Pension book

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes – your children are entitled to join the credit union if they fall within our common bond. We welcome all your family members and encourage all our younger members to open an account and avail of the many benefits on offer. Please provide a birth certificate or a passport along with their PPS number for every child. Please note that we will also need photographic ID and address verification for the parent/guardian opening the account.
The common bond is the factor which unites all the members of our credit union – it is what we all have in common. Our common bond covers:
